Misty is a timid, cautious kitty at first. She survived some events that were very traumatic to her. Her family had to move out of their home and didn't have another house to live in. Misty was ill with severe flea anemia and a very bad lower urinary tract infection when her family brought her to their vet's to euthanize. With his help, Misty was transferred into the Catnip Cottage rather than face euthanasia. Misty has recovered from the urinary tract infection and anemia and now has a clean bill of health. She is eating and has put on weight again, although she is a dainty girl. Misty has flea allergies, so it is very important that she is maintained on a veterinary approved flea prevention. This sweet girl and lovely lady is a sensitive girl. She is still playful, affectionate, sweet and curious. Misty is a real rescue - one who you can help write a happy ending for! Misty is 13 years old and in good overall health. She is spayed, declawed, vaccinated and Feline Leukemia negative. Because she is such a sensitive girl, she Must have a quiet and peaceful home with no small children. Although Misty would very definitely be best placed as an only cat, she does get along with other gentle-natured cats and small dogs in her foster home. This lady is trusting that she can be your own purr-ecious star. I hear them say Forever Home when talking to each other And I would so love to have a daddy or a mother. It was hard to be homeless, and fear each new sound Now I feel quite secure as Im walking round. If youll understand that Im timid and shy I just wanted to tell you so you would know why. Im a kitty with oh so much loving to give And if you pick me for as long as you live I will love you and let you know how much I adore Running to greet you, as you come in our door.
