Hello out there in "Best Basset For US Search Land".... My name is Lady Liberty, Libby for short. I came to my foster family on the 4th of July, hence my name. I am glad to be at CBHR- this is the life, I had no idea it could be this good! I do have a bit of a problem in that I am heartworm positive and have yet to go through that nasty treatment to get rid of all those nasty little boogers! I'm a shy little girl, VERY quiet, in fact I don't make any noise, but I do love being gently loved and petted. I play with my BIG, crazy brothers, but I'm the quiet one of the bunch. My foster Mum and Dad just think I'm the sweetest little girl they've ever come across. I'm about 4 years old and am quite petite. At the moment I weigh about 36 lbs., but with all the good food I'm getting now, I'm sure I'll gain some weight. I'm house-trained and use a doggy door with no problem, my foster brothers taught me that right off. I'll be staying here for a few weeks while I get rid of those nasty little worms. When that's done though, I'll be available for that forever home with you, if you're quick enough to snap me up.
