Description
My name is Buddy and my mom asked the Rescue to please take me in so I could have an operation for Hip Dysplasia. I'm afraid that my health issues were much much more than just Hip Dysplasia. I went to the specialist and I have been diagnosed with arthritis, hip dysplasia, fused spine and a major problem with my knee. I have a ton of problems for a dog as young as I am. The first thing that the Dr and the Rescue is going to do is surgery on my knee. We are all hoping that after I recover from this surgery that I will be able to get up and walk again. Update: Buddy had his surgery on his knee and is much improved after his therapy sessions. He has graduated to pool swimming now and his mobility is much better. The rascal is now able to climb on the sofa so he can look out the window. He uses a doggy door at his convenience to go outside and he is a very happy and social fella. He loves car rides, and getting out to visit people, he hardly ever barks, he just wants to please. Buddy has improved so much we think he is ready for his new home. No, he will never be able to run a marathon with you but you will have a golden that will love and cherish you.
